The USTA today announced that it has renewed its agreement with IMG, a global leader in sports, media and fashion, as its US Open media consultant outside of the U.S., Canadian and Latin American territories beginning 2017 and running until 2025. IMG has been representing the USTA since 2013 and will continue to consult the USTA in media negotiations across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

The 2014 US Open was seen in 200 countries and received more than 60,000 hours of domestic and international television coverage.

Gordon Smith, USTA Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, said: “We have been delighted with the way IMG has increased exposure and revenues for the US Open since we began working together and look forward to enhancing our relationship and growing the audience even further over the next ten years.”

Ed Mallaburn, Head of Tennis at IMG Media, said: “This is a big vote of confidence from the USTA and will allow us to work with them on their long-term objectives for the US Open. Our considerable experience and expertise in key markets around the world will continue to benefit this prestigious event.”
